Veteran Student Assistants

In addition to our fellowship program, we are committed to the inclusion of paid veteran undergraduate assistantships throughout the center. Our current searches for competitively paid hourly research, data processing & analysis, 3D printing, and administrative assistants are detailed below. Typically, these roles are for 12-20 hours per week during the semester and require full time enrollment.

Machine Learning Research Assistants

We are currently seeking undergraduate veteran students with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Python and/or R
  • Machine Learning
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Materials Science
  • Graph Theory

Data Processing Assistants

We are currently seeking undergraduate veteran students with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Data Analysis
  • Image Processing
  • Statistical Analysis
  • Big data
  • Complex Systems

3D and 2D Printing Research Assistants

We are currently seeking undergraduate veteran students with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • 3D Printing
  • Lithography & Patterning
  • Composites Manufacturing
  • Biomaterials
  • Additive Manufacturing

Administrative Assistants

We are currently seeking undergraduate veteran students with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Filing and Organization
  • Document Editing
  • WordPress
  • Report Generation
  • Program Administration

CURRENT POSITION DETAILS
These assistantships are filled on a rolling basis. Depending on the role, work locations may include the North Campus of the University of Michigan, hybrid, or remote localities. Please contact us if you have an interest.
