Prof. Archana Bhaw-Luximon Invited to Speak at ACS150 JACS Symposium in Cape Town
COMPASS is pleased to recognize Prof. Archana Bhaw-Luximon, PhD, who has been selected as an invited speaker at the ACS150 JACS Symposium Series: University of Cape Town, taking place September 10–11, 2026, in Cape Town, South Africa.
Prof. Bhaw-Luximon is Professor and Personal Chair in Biomaterials Engineering and Nanomedicine at the University of Mauritius. Her research spans biomaterials, drug delivery, nanotechnology, and nanomedicine, with a strong emphasis on translating advanced materials research toward biomedical applications.
The two-day ACS150 JACS Symposium will bring together leading chemists, researchers, and journal editors for keynote lectures, scientific presentations, and poster sessions highlighting cutting-edge work in biological and medicinal chemistry. Topics include drug discovery and therapeutics, infectious diseases, biomedical imaging and diagnostics, biomaterials applications in medicine, and chemical and molecular biology.
