Dr Yonas Gizaw (left), a member of the CERA Advisory Board, was invited to give a public lecture at Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) Science and Technology University (AASTU) on October 9, 2024. Dr. Gizaw gave a very interesting lecture on “Beyond Academic Excellence: Academicians as Innovators”. His talk was very inspiring as he emphasized on how Universities should work with industries to foster innovation and joint applied research that can solve society problems.
Dr. Gizaw will be making a presentation at the upcoming COMPASS meeting scheduled for December 5 & 6, 2024 at Ann Arbor, Michigan.
