“My time at Center for Biomedical and biomaterials research (CBBR) at the university of Mauritius was very enlightening and productive. It helped me understand the true essence of frugal innovation and that good science does not need to be expensive. I thank Prof Archana for making me a part of a startup incubator pitch, entrepreneurship talk and an alumni event at the US ambassador’s house! It was vital to understand the importance of academic entrepreneurship in solving real problems as we worked on surface modification of wound dressings.”
